Riverford Gardens

Wrapped on three sides by the White Cart Water, Riverford Gardens occupies a riverside setting on Glasgow’s south side, overlooking Auldhouse Park. The landscape-led development creates 156 private homes for CCG Homes, with the river and surrounding green space influencing the configuration of individual blocks and the wider site layout.

A varied mix of apartments, semi-detached houses and terraced villas creates a diverse residential neighbourhood, with buildings positioned to maximise views across the water and surrounding parkland. Generous internal layouts provide flexible contemporary living spaces, while balconies, gardens and shared amenity strengthen the connection between homes and their landscape setting.

Public space is central to the masterplan. Its terraced villa won Best Family Home (Small) at the 2019 Herald Property Awards and House of the Year at the 2020 Scottish Home Awards, while the wider development was named Large Development of the Year at the 2021 Homes for Scotland Awards.
