We are excited to share that our project at Witch Road in Kilmarnock with CCG (Scotland) Ltd and East Ayrshire Council was the winner in the ‘Age Exclusive Development of the Year’ category at last night’s Scottish Home Awards 2023!

This project has provided 43 energy efficient homes comprising a mix of one and two bedroom bungalow houses, designed specifically for older ambulant disabled residents. Key to the design are the pops of vibrant colours that assist wayfinding and identification across the side which have been informed by ‘Designing for Dementia’ principles and the inclusion of bespoke timber pergolas at entrances which create areas of outdoor seating and planters for each dwelling. A community garden also complements the design, providing residents with both private and communal amenity spaces.
