This multi-faceted 6 storey project comprised of a new flagship office for the HA, 32 multi storey flats over 2 storeys and 17 mainstream mixed tenure houses and cottage flats over 2 storeys. Underpinning this extensive project was a need to comply with Housing for Varying needs and SBD standards.
We worked closely with the Planning Department during the design stages, an iterative process that nurtured mutual ideas and visions for the build. As collaborators we were able to share our design ambitions and drive forward collectively to create a contemporary context and modern interpretation of Glasgow’s tenemental heritage.
In 2012, the project was awarded Winner of the Herald Property Awards ‘Social Development of the Year’.
