The commencement of our 26-unit development in Bonhill for West Dunbartonshire Council was officially marked last week at the formal sod-cutting ceremony.

The steeply sloping site at Pappert will include six Passivhaus units, the first in West Dunbartonshire, alongside 20 further units delivered to an operational net-zero compliance level.  All dwellings adopt air-source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water, replacing gas boilers, alongside photovoltaic panels (with battery storage) and thermally efficient building envelopes to reduce energy demands.

Delivered by CCG (Scotland) Ltd., the site will provide three and four bedroomed homes alongside cottage flat properties, three of which are designed to be fully wheelchair accessible, within an environment which boasts high levels of pedestrian connectivity to the established residential areas nearby.

Enabling work on the site began in March of this year, with completion expected in June 2025.
