This year celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Glasgow Architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. In honour of his work, a temporary exhibition in Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum has been set up, offering an insight to the life and works for the world-famous Architect, Designer and Artist.
MAST have been privileged to work on one of his buildings in recent years, carrying out refurbishment and restoration works to The Glasgow Art Club and Gallery located on Bath Street in the City Centre. Works over 2 phases were completed in 2015 and awarded the GIA Award for Conservation in the same year.
David Denholm, Director, commented “Its great to see one of our conservation projects feature in the exhibition alongside some of Mackintosh’s most famous works. Charles Rennie Mackintosh has a fantastic reputation worldwide and we are lucky to have this exhibition on our doorstep.”
