The Barmulloch development provides a total of 157 units, consisting of a variety of house and flat types which are carefully arranged over the 3.9Ha site and uses the existing streetscape and challenging topography to the development’s advantage. A bespoke amenity housing block was also incorporated comprising flatted and communal accommodation. The development was split up into two sites; the first had been tenemental housing and second Barmulloch Primary School. The design incorporates modern methods of construction and utilises off-site closed panel manufacturing processes.
